Final Paper Reflection

Over the writing of this paper I learned the benefits and positives to paying college athletes. Along with this I still learned the other side, but I still believe it would be better to pay them it is what they deserve. This related with me because my dad played and now works in college athletics and it something I have always been interested in. I have grown up around sports and I realize how much work you have to put in to be successful in them. I have learned that in our world that everyone wants money, and that controls factors in everything people have a part in. During this paper I learned more about constructing a lengthier paper, and how it must be pre planned. This paper was written from my perspective (“I”) which was different for me, but I learned that it is useful to always relate ideas back to yourself.

This semester I have learned the most about my own personal writing, and tips in general then I have in my school experience so far. I have learned how to analyze texts, and make my own writing pieces. As well as learn how to organize a long essay or paper into an outline and use that to write the final paper smoothly. We have watched movies and analyzed them and related them to the writing and reading we have done. I enjoyed class, and how it functioned with the group work and in class small presentations. Being taught we current interesting topics was something that I have not had too often, and I really enjoyed it and thought it kept me focused. This class has prepared me for my future at the University of Michigan and for English 125.
